Education is extremely important in our society, especially as it pertains to our youth. As a tutor, I help students to become knowledgeable in the subject matter and, therefore, achieve their goals. One of my main strategies as a tutor is to teach students how to learn for themselves. Once students have the ability to learn on their own, they will have much more long-term success. I also believe that tutors are responsible for teaching their students good study habits, which will last with them for the rest of their academic careers.I have been helping students to learn for the past ten years, ever since I completed my education at the University of Illinois and National Louis University. I am certified to teach math and science at the middle school, high school, and college levels and have taught at a number of different schools over the years. I also tutor students in science, math, and test preparation. I wholeheartedly believe that the students who work with me improve their grades, and I keep records of their development throughout the sessions. I am 100% dedicated to helping these students retain the information that they need to reach their goals and to acquire the necessary skills along the way.
