I am a tutor who received a bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Binghamton University. (I also minored in Global Studies.)I can speak fluent Russian because that was my first language before I learned English. I also mentor my students in the English language, as well as other subjects: Anatomy, Writing, Biology, Public Speaking, College Essays, Test Prep, SAT, Social Studies, Phonics, Russian, etc. If your child needs assistance in any subject outside the school year, I offer summer tutoring as well.I'm an advocate of bringing the joy to learning. In my view, every student has the ability to learn anything as long as they are guided correctly. I don't believe anyone is too young or too old to learn something, and like it.When I tutor my students, I set up my lesson plans in a way that caters to each individual's ability because everyone has a different way of gaining knowledge. Rather than just talking at them, I encourage them to use their own minds to cogitate and question everything.In my spare time, I relax by reading, writing, and rollerblading through the city of Brooklyn, New York.
